WELCOME TO FIJI SEAFOOD MARKETING LLC

Fiji Seafood Marketing LLC (FSM) is the gateway to accessing premium South Pacific seafood products. FSM is the North American marketing arm of Golden Ocean Fish LTD (GOF) of Fiji, and Kiribati Fish LTD (KFL) of Kiribati. These are two highly regarded producers of quality Seafood in the South Pacific. FSM also sources fresh and frozen products from many other suppliers from around the world.

Formed in 2000; Golden Ocean Fish’s primary business is long-line fishing for Yellowfin and Bigeye Tuna as well as, Albacore Tuna, Swordfish, Mahi Mahi, Ono, and other valuable species. Golden Ocean currently operates over a dozen modern long line vessels all licensed to fish within Fiji’s Exclusive Economic Zone or EEZ. They also work with many other private “chartered” vessels that give their catch to Golden Ocean for processing and marketing. Golden Ocean has large modern frozen and fresh processing plants in Fiji, as well as multiple cold storage facilities that together employ hundreds of Fijian workers.

Kiribati Fish was formed in 2010 as a partnership between the government of Kiribati (40%), Golden Ocean Fish of Fiji (40%), and Shanghai Deep Sea Fishing of China (20%). The consortium currently has a processing/storage facility on the capital island of Tarawa, Kiribati, and operates 6 long line vessels (with more to be added). They are also working with hundreds of indigenous Kiribati fishing vessels – buying and processing their catch of various Tuna species. In coming years many other species of fish will be processed and exported from Kiribati to customers all over the world.
